Doug Turnbull

Doug is a Mining Engineer by training. Doug has worked in many facets of the mining industry since then, including drill & blast crew, shiftboss, mine planning engineer, mining production manager, processing production manager, fixed & mobile equipment maintenance manager & contractor manager across coal, manganese, gold, silver & lead mines both surface and underground.

He extended his experience into mining equipment supply and services on a global basis, including head of Trans4mine (customer applications optimization) & Vice President of Mining Systems Products. This background has provided a strong global network together with an understanding of what works and what does not.

His technical expertise covers operational mining, processing and maintenance, contract management, drill & blast engineering, supply chain management, change management, MARC contract reviews and applications engineering – always with a focus on lowering cost per tonne safely.
